[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Iguacu Falls national park is not only worth visiting for its impressive falls but also for the rich nature at the river Iguacu.

This plush-crested heather (Cyanocorax chrysops) is a close relative of the raven, which, in view of its colorful plumage may seem surprising.

Making of:
It was sitting in a tree on the wayside of the cataratas trail along the Iguacu falls. From time to time it jumped down to catch a grashopper.

I was hoping to not only catch the bird but also part of its natural environment; the evergreen canopy leaves, wet trunks and airplants.
