[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Hadedah bird of the Ibis family is a common sight in suburban gardens and sportsfields. Over the last few years there has been a distinct change in behaviour of these birds. They have multiplied dramatically and have become much more tame and far less noisey. The increase in numbers may be attributed to the proliferation of new golf courses where they quietly stand aside to let players pass instead of flying off with their loud "ha-de-dah!" cries. All of this despite the spactacular population explosion of the vervet monkey which strips birds' nests of their eggs.

Hallo Neels,
Goede foto van deze Hadedah's. Mooie natuurlijke kleuren, hoewel ze in zonlicht nog meer opvallen. Leuk om ze zo op een rijtje te zien. Prima scherpte en diepte in de foto.
Groet,
Peter

A lovely trio, and so nicely captured!
Seems like their activity is well coordinated, lovely to see how they pick the food as they are strolling the field...

Beautiful photo with interesting composition, wonderful colours and good sharpness.

Bonjour Neels,
L'inclinaison de l'arrière plan, en haut et à gauche, m'interpelle mais les sujets sont tout de même bien valorisés dans une agréable composition et sous une bonne profondeur de champ.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard

Hello Neels,
How marvellous to have a group of ibises on the lawn!
These three Hadedah Ibises were well captured from a fine POV on the slope of your lawn and their features are well seen with fine sharpness and natural colours against the grassy BG in a pleasing diagonal composition.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Hi Neels.
I welcome your creative approach and inclined orientation of the image. At whole pictured scene is excellent. I also am impressed with ultimate sharpness of all scene, poses of the bird and their arrangement into the frame. My compliments and TFS.
Alexei.

That title is perfect: they do look as taken a cleaning detail...
Fine pic. on the slop, excelent clearity.
Cheers
Ike

Hi Neels,

The birds are well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Hadedah birds working the lawn. The morning light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre

I saw several of these in Johannesburg on the lawns - quite interesting to watch. Excellent note.
