Montains in Niger

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
topic
Again, a photograph taken from an airplane in flight to Gabon. The flight over Niger in the past through the trays Djado.
The reliefs were photographed on the border between the desert and mountains. The numerous valleys that we can see are carved by erosion and are gradually invaded by the sands of the desert of Ténéré.
Seen at 10,000 feet, the show is much less surprising when viewed from ground.
Photography
Photographed in color mode of the device, then converted to black and white in post processing. The photograph was taken from the rear of the aircraft. The flight was quite agitated. For this reason, I opted for a speed of shooting 1 / 900 th. With a sensitivity equivalent to ISO-160 and a focal length of 17 mm. The opening was f / 4.
Obviously, the conditions are not ideal, but the show is nevertheless worthwhile, even if the technical implementation of the photograph is not of top quality.
I hope that you take as much pleasure as myself to contemplate this magical show.

Hola philippe
