Interesante especie. Por aquí cada vez son más escasas y solo las podemos ver ( con suerte)
en zonas de montaña. La luz, que parece del atardecer, le da un interés especial.
Saludos y buen fin de semana Paul: Josep Ignasi.

Hello Paul,
Beautiful shot of this little Ground Squirrel. Your choice of an f/5.3 aperture really makes this fellow stand out from the BG. The detail is excellent as evident by the tiny hairs on it's head which can easily be seen in sharp focus. Attractive pose and wonderful eye contact. Great work!!

Hello Pauly

Hello Paul,

I can see the family relations to the squirrels in my neighbourhood..!
But of course it will always be physical differences between animals living on the ground as compared with those living in trees...
This fellow is captured with fine details, a good pose and natural colours!
