Phasia hemiptera female
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
From my backyard:
This is the female of Phasia hemiptera (F.), the Tachinid fly species I had presented before. It sits on the weed Pastinaca sativa. In females the wings are translucent and the wing shape less kite-like as in males. Again the flat body shape and the golden hairs on the thoracic sides are quite unique for flies. |

Hi Dietrich Meyer! How are you! This is a good image and the position of the fly is special. IMHO i feel the yellow flowers are little overexposed which can be corrected in PP

Hi Dietrich,
very good shot of this fly. Great sharpness exactly on the object. Amazing colours. Very good depth of field.
Have a nice week,

Elegante y delicado trabajo Dietrich. Sacando belleza de donde teóricamente no la hay.
Preciosos colores y un gran acercamiento.
