[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the second picture of a large butterfly I shot during my trek to Sach Pass in the Himalayas in the first week of June this year.
Given below is a brief note on it from Wikipedia:

The Common Banded Peacock (Papilio crino) is a species of swallowtail (Papilionidae) butterfly found in parts of South Asia, including India and Sri Lanka.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Ram,
an exciting and a special capture in splendid composition. The sharpness is so pristine and the green background is stunning. How both of these qualities combined to give a well detailed and effective presentation.
Lovely nature shot.

Hi Ram.
Very nice picture of this Papillio. Even though he is not in good shape, so your capture he looks gorgeous. Beautiful composition with a characteristic pose on a flower. Nice details, very good exposure and great BG. Very well done presentation of this interesting species for me. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
Milos
