Crocothemis erythraea in Latin - Scarlet Darter in English

Description
Length: 33-44mm
This darter has a flattened abdomen appearing rather broad compared to other UK darters. The male is vividly bright scarlet and unmistakeable. The veins on the leading edges of the wings are also red.
The female and immature are yellow-brown with a conspicuous pale stripe along the top of the thorax, between the wings.

Habitat
Found near shallow, still waters such as small pools, rice paddies and drainage channels.

Status and Distribution
Rare migrant from Southern Europe. First recorded in 1995.

Similar species
Unlikely to be mistaken for any other species.

Merhaba Ilker bey,
Almost an excellent image. Fabulous composition, awesome color contrast, beautiful shallow depth of field - but sharpness must be increased a bit. Probably it's caused by the small file size (106 KB). The more you're closed to the 300 KB limit, the more your photo's sharp. Or / and, use selective sharpening in Photoshop. Except for the little soft focus, a great image. Tfs.
