[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

A documentary shot.
It's not really an attractive sight, but I found it somehow amazing to see so many of these Heteroptera-nymphs
I went back the following day to the same place and they had disappeared.

Finally I found out about the ID! These are not Firebugs like I thought at the beginning.

Were you carrying a fire extinguisher with you, so many nymphs at one place, good image. tfs.

Interesting that they should all disappear. Nice group photo. regards yiannis

Hi Anne,

Yes indeed a documentary shot and what a good idea showing these Nymphs in their natural habitat, it doesn't look like these guys are eating the leaves, so my question to you is what makes guys bunch up together like this hmmm?, however Anne a great spectacle, good sharpness and well exposed, nice to see something different, great stuff and well done,
Best regards,

Bonjour Anne,
An interesting capture of these masses of bug nymphs. The clarity and natural colours are excellent but the subject itself is unusual and food for thought.
As they display warning colours they are likely to be unpalatable and not usually taken by predators. The question then is why are so many nymphs necessary to continue the species? What do they die of and what is it that keeps down the population? I don't know the answers and can only speculate...
Nymphs are usually more difficult to ID, but I don't doubt your suggestion.
Une belle pris et merci pour le partage.
Bonne soirée,

Super macro photo!
Very great sharpness and amazing colours!

Hi Anne,
Excellent and interesting photo of this Insekts, TFS!

Hi Anne,
Very nice shot and superb focus. The POV is perfect and also the composition. Excellently presented.

Salut Anne!

Grazie e complimenti
Con amicizia

Hello Anne,
What a beautiful and impressive capture, great composition with excellent sharpness and natural colours.
Have a nice weekend!...

Hi Anna,
This is a bit of an scary photo, especially when taken for this close. It is interesting to see them all togehter. I am wondering if this was a day of hatching or if they came together to reproduce.
You captured them perfectly with great sharpness and excellent clarity. Even if it is not a prety photo is certainly is an interesting one.
