Field Flowers

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I got a new photo editing software together with my new printer/scanner and this was a great practice for me to edit my scanned photo. I corrected a little the tilted line of horizon, increased the saturation and colors and sharpened the image.
I understand though that the result is very far from perfection and from how I would like it to look... :)
I do not know what happened to the sky...
I just liked this plain landscape on Martha's Vineyard island in Atlantic ocean this August. I think, field flowers look a little unusual with the ocean as a background, don't they?
The original image has greyish colors, because the day was rather cloudy and I really felt like making it brighter. |

What a very pretty seascape you have here, Irina! I think you did a great job on the saturation. You can use unsharp mask at .4 pixels, 100% to smooth out the last little bit of noise. Also try "despeckle". This is a really nice post.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
