Here in the cities of the Pacific NorthWest we see these quite often gathering and getting ready for a long winter. Not sure if I believe they do it because they have a sixth sense... just being safe as so many did in Y2K but were wrong.

They scurry about not especially liking people without goodies to give them. I used to think they didn't like the sound of my car engine... then I thought it was the electric wheelchair which makes a high pitched noise.. but alas it is as simple as humans..they dont like humans all that much and even if you feed them they are likely to bite you...

Taken with my Pentax DSLR
Pentax kit lens 55mm
I have many lens for this new DSLR and the longer zoom might have worked better here but with no spare room on the wheelchair for gear, I have to do long rides with one lens at at time..

De estas no tenemos por aquí Robert... la naturaleza la tenemos bastante descuidada
en general en españa.
Bello trabajo a la vez que original, captada en un momento muy oportuno.

Hello Bob,
A nice action shot of this busy little Grey squirrel. They really seem to be on the move here in our area as well. We do have alot of the Greys such as this one, but we also have quite a few of the all black version as well.

Hi Robert,
very nice photo of this squirrel. Great point of view and composition. Funny pose of this animal :)
Have a nice Sunday.
Thanks for your kind words.

Hello Bob,
It's better they are not too tame...it will often save their life! You have caught this little autumn hunter in a dynamic attitude just crossing your way. Simple and pleasant natural shot. We had some squirrels in our surroundings, unfortunately cats after having caught two of them have chased away the little colony. May be they come back in wintertime!
Take care and have a nice Sunday
Kind regards

Hi Bob.
I am impressed with your steadfastness, love to photography and skill. Amazing action shot, superb timing and freezing of the scene. Bravo.

Hi Bob,

A good capture of the squirrel on the run. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the squirrel. A good management of the strong light which does not hurt to much the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Bob

You shot the photo with a very fine low POV
at the squirrel's level and at the best moment
of his movement with great focus sharpness details,

Hello Bob.
I like the light catching on this squirrel. You have captured the details very well with pleasing tone.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hello Bob,
Shooting it with the precision is possible only with Bob :)
