Lovely image! It is definitely a damsel in the genus Ischnura (one of the Forktails), one of two species, but it is probably not possible to differentiate with certainty between Ishnura damula (Plains Forktail) and Ishnura cervula (Pacific Forktail) from an image, albeit a darn good one here! I believe both are known from Utah.Very sharp, excellent Depth of Field, nice colours and composition. Kudos!
