I found this little flower at the High Altitude Botanical Garden from Tilcara (Jujuy - Argentina).-
Although the rest of the plants that are there, this one was growing up wild. I found it because it was the only plant with flowers and it was outside the paths.
I really don´t know the name; I´ve found similar flowers in purple and white colours, but with complete diferent leaves.
Hope someone can help me with the ID.

A beautiful wild life shot though the composition need a bit correction but the exposure and lighting are the best, TFS.

Hi Brenda, I like the muted colours and oof background with this. It's a pity you could not have framed it to exclude the second group of flowers in the bottom right hand corner.
I know nothing of Argentinian flowers but if someone had just shown me the photo without any other reference data I would have said it was from the poppy(Papava)family, although I think these mostly have only four petals. TFS - Phil
nice photo of this flower. Amazing colours. Very good composition.
Thanks for sharing,
Ciao Brenda, delicate composition with lovely flower, wonderful soft colors and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
