|Northern Shoveler (Anas clypeata), sometimes known simply as the Shoveler, is a common and widespread duck. Male pale blue on forwing, with a white bar between it and the metallic green color. Female mottled dark brown and buff with greyish blue on wings. Migratory, found in winter. Shot taken at the roadside pond near Dwarka-Jamnagar highway, Gujarat.|

Beautiful photo of the Northern Shoveler,
with fine POV and i love that centered framing,
excellent focus sharpness and details,
i also love that one part of the bird is
in the highlights and the other part in the shadows,
very interesting bird. Great reflections in water. Very good composition.
