[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,
This photo was taken this morning, at Cibubur Bogor ,about 40 km from Jakarta. It was a sunny day after cloudy and rainy day. I used my 60mm macro lens on handheld.
The body of this insect was 1,5cm long and the color was glowing green and red.
Somebody please help me getting the ID.
I Hope you like it.

Boedy

Lovely Beetle with shiny, metallic body, Boedy. The dorsal POV shows its feature very well. Good sharpness and colours.
Welcome to TN!

hi Boedy,
such a lovely insect and very clear photograph. good sharpness. nice composition and good light.
now ID. see, this beetle, in every way looks like a Dogbane Beetle (Chrysochus auratus), except the last pair of legs... so, am not very sure about my guess.
anyway, thanks for sharing. i liked it.
