Blacksmith lapwing 2
you don't need points for this. because 2 points are too less to justify your photograph. i have no word to explain it properly. simply perfect. well, that's what expected from Canon 5D. but hats off to you too for perfect timing, good adjustment of exposure.

this great bg color is just fine with the b&w bird and its red eye

Lovely capture in flight of a interesting species of birds.
Outstanding contrast against the dark blue sky.
He is looking very nice and it has the shape of the nortern lapwing migrating in my country in spring.

Hello Friend George,
what a breathtaking capture. The moment and action is well frozen in its best sharpness. The colours are really arresting and the simplicity really drives a splendid attraction.
You deserve the best shot here. Such an exciting shot.
PS- My respect to the NPP!
A fantastic in-flight capture of this Blacksmith Lapwing. I can clearly hear the sound coming from it's open bill and see the excitement in the eye. The sharpness and detail is immaculate complimented with natural colours against the beautiful BG. Well done my friend!!
I was not aware that a fixed lens could be used for moving subjects at that speed? Did you use aperture priority or shutter priority and which of the two is the best for in-flight captures?
