Hello friends in TN,

The Acrididae are the predominant family of grasshoppers, comprising some 10,000 of the 11,000 species of the entire suborder Caelifera. The Acrididae are best known because all locusts (swarming grasshoppers) are of the Acrididae.

Thanks for viewing!

Hello Jusni,
A fine duo of what looks like two species of Grasshopper, the one on the left being a nymph while the other one has developed wings that suggest adult.
Both image were taken from great POV's with excellent sharpness, natural colours and contrast with the natural green BG's in pleasing compositions.
There are so many species of insects that one wonders if all the known ones have names!
Thanks and best regards,
