Hello friends, since i have a DSLR
working in Aperture mode it became
my favorite mode, and in the last
week or days because i am doing
in-flight photos ISO1000 it became
my favorite ISO setting.

Today i have done 8 to 10 in-flights
of the Red Squirrel and 2 others of birds,
for this Eastern Chipmunk i should go to
ISO400 but at that moment i completely forget.

1/1000s f/11.0 ISO1000
50mm (35mm eq:75mm) no cropping.

Now its been 2 times i am seeing the
Eastern Chipmunk Woke-up from his hibernation,
but in the following website i am reading
that he is not considered true hibernator :

from Canadian Museum of Nature website

« Chipmunks retire to their burrows
during winter. They become torpid for
varying periods but are not considered
true hibernators, often waking up to
eat and move around below ground. »

Regards from,

I love this shot Asbed. I'm glad you didn't zoom too much. It's nice to see the setting he's in. You framed it well with the tree. I like the colours and the DOF is just right for focus on the snow. Great shot Asbed! TFS Trevor

Very nice photo in beautiful colours and good sharpness. Excellent choice of composition.

Hi Asbed,
another interesting photo of this squirrel. Very good composition.
Have a nice weekend,

Bonjour Asbed,

L'arbre cadre bien le tamia rayé. La prise de voir les détails et les couleurs du tamia rayé. L'image est claire et nette. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée

Hello Asbed,
If you keep getting wonderful images like this, I think you better just let the settings where they are :) An attractive photo of this tiny chipmunk who seems to be more interested in food, then paying attention to you at the moment. Beautiful colors and nice sharp detail. Well done!!
