Hello Asbed,
that's a wonderful attempt in my opinion.
Good clarity and fantastic white balance.
The colors are really looking amazingly natural.
The use of f/8 here ....its working ..the background
is quite far away from the squirrel, so good separation
from the background! I wouldn't give up on the f/2.8
