[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This image was captured in Etosha National Park near the Namutoni water hole. As mentioned in some of my previous lion uploads, this is the Kudu which the Lion pride caught early that morning. This was taken at 07:18 AM and the first sun rays had just touched the scene.
Enjoy and comments/critique are welcome.
Regards,
Carl

Hello Carl,
I can only dream of what it must be like living in such an area where this happens on a daily basis. What an awesome opportunity you have to share such sights with those from all around the world.
The detail is exceptional and the colors true and natural. Fantastic moment!!

Hallo Carl,
Indrukwekkende foto van deze leeuwen. Grootse timing.

Hi Carl.
A bit dramatic scene but is natural absolutely. I welcome shallow DOF and nice blurriness of the remote trees against sharp image of the main subject. TFS and best wishes.
Alexei.

Cruda y real escena, con gran realismo en todo el conjunto. Te pone en escena !

Hi Carl,
Action as it's best! Terrific moment, very interesting photo. Bravo! I'm actually curious how closed you were to the lions, and how the original (I mean non-cropped) scene looked alike. Nevertheless, a great job.
Have a prosperous 2013, best regards, László
