[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rare Rhodian species, discovered recently on Attaviros mountain and later described from southwestern coast of Turkey. Usually the lip is straight and the basal area not curved downwards. Macula with glabrous blue coloration. This last characteristic, together with the deep, V-shaped basal groove, reminds Ophrys iricolor with small lip, but the underneath surface of the lip is greenish and not purple.Flowering time: April-May.
