[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this 'powerful' grasshopper on Madeira.
It was hidden in the vegetation and stayed resting there for a longer time so that it was possible to take a series of pictures.

I'm not sure on the identification. Perhaps someone can help in this case.

Location: Madeira, close to Paul da Serra.

An amazing capture from a grasshopper with superb details, Peter!

The contrast against a well blurred Bg is well kept and light is balanced too.
Good exposure in bringing out important details of its body parts.

Eindrückliche Kreatur! So gedrungene Heuschrecken sieht man bei uns nicht so oft. Bestens fotografiert, alle Details sieht man gut. Wie üblich beste Bildqualität!
Kann natürlich auch nivht helfen..
