As not yet I have a decision taken on the theme raised in my forum I am thinking seriously to migrate my images... and in which I wait for its commentaries on the matter, I will continue sharing with you some of my images.

In this case, one is a new capture in flight... second that I make.
One is a white heron that finished raising flight from the water... even can see the small drops falling of the legs of the bird.
I reiterate some information on this so beautiful species.

The plumage is entirely white, smooth and abundant. Coveted aigrettes, which almost they caused his extinction and that is related to the sexual exhibition of the species, is forty long pens, with the beards messed up hair, that are born in the dorsal region.

The white heron (Egretta Alba) occupies different atmospheres but always related to the water: matting, lagoons, rivers and marshy zones. Like the other species of the family, present adaptations for the aquatic life, like the extension of the legs, thanks to which it can overcome relatively deep waters.

The nest building colonies can be in dense juncus, trees next to the lagoons or existing trees in flooded fields.

Its area of distribution includes the five continents. In America its from the south of the United States and Mexico, passing by Colombia and Venezuela, to Argentina and Chile. Also it lives in the Galápagos islands, Dutch Antilles and Trinidad Tobago.

The white heron can walk solitary - in this case cautious and it is distrusted -, although in general it prefers to form groups, since it is a sociable bird and of gregarious habits.

One moves and it feeds during the hours of light, but at dusk likes to meet it in great groups and to occupy the glasses of the high trees, where it rests, although also it can do it on the ground, in some humid or subject to flooding land.

Of October to December the white heron nest. It does in atmospheres related to the water and forming colonies integrated by a variable number of pairs.

It locates its nests on the stems of the rushes, to a variable height on the water, but also on the trees and level with the ground.

Constructed with rushes doubled and cut and something of stuffed - stems of thistle, small branches, canes, bulrush- the nests measure between fifty and sixty centimeters of diameter and little form a pronounced concavity in which usually are some pens.

very good one Ricardo,
you have made an exelent capture, you have said what I would askes, about those white stips, but you gave the answere. About the thing you said on the forum, I think you and Callie have right, because it are here, but thats by TE also the same. That it are always the same people who give you response on your photo. And the fact is that on TE are more members, so there are more people who give response.

I like this one Ricardo. The backlight adds a nice effect. The front is not as sharp and a bit dark but I know it's difficult to get these right. You did very well.

Nice capture of this great bird. Backlight doesn't bother me at all. Good job.

Nice image, but its what it represents that I don't like. You are very much a part of this site and I really hope that it is going to remain this way. The image reminds me of the Concorde.

Thanks for posting

nice shot!
the bird looks very graceful.colours are good and it's cool we see those drops falling.
it isn't very sharp, but it'w difficult to photograph a bird especialy when they are flying, that i know :o)

Well done Ricardo. YOu can't leave and deny us these shots. Superb.

I like the way you capture the upward leap of this magnificent bird, nice one Ricardo.

Hi Ricardo
Thanks for this one, it is a lovely capture.
As to your concern, and I agree with most of your feelings, contact Adam & Robert directly.
Sorry, my points are spent

Very splendidly photo and beautiful moment
I do not know English gj'ayto' I do not write a lot of comments

The backlight adds to the airiness of this image. As a result, the grace and delicate look of the heron are enhanced.

It is not surprising that this photo reminded someone of the Concorde. Unwillingly, japie's remark is a compliment to this airplane.

Splendido controluce e suggestiva idea del volo per quest'uccello, appena staccatosi dall'acqua, le goccioline sotto le zampe riportano questa immagine ad una dimensione più terrena, visto che la fotografia è quasi surreale!! Complimenti!!

They are so exquisite!!! nice dreamy shot!

Going to the moon ?
It's like a rocket !
Superb shot of the "reiger" in action and a great light is "catching" this bird !

Ola Ricardo.

very beautiful with great feeling!!!

Hi Ricardo This is so beautifull the elegance of this bird is wonderfully captured very well composed and nice blue sky goes nicely with the white of the bird sharpness is good love the drops of water as it is just taking off perfect timing. TFS rgds Necip

Of course I like this picture! It's beautiful!
The small lack of sharpness is compensated by a great amount of grace and the backlight adds fine, sculptural effect.
I also find very appropriate it's association with your "old" migration forum ;)

Hi Ricardo,
This is a fantastic shot. The soaring white heron against bright blue sky is excellently composed and exposed. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece.
