°Enallagma cyathigerum male°°
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
The Common Bluet is the commonest and most widespread damselfly in Europe; its range stretches from the North of Scandinavia to the South of the Mediterranean. It's a smallish black-and-blue (or black-and-greenish) damselfly with a stubby build. Enallagma cyathigerum's main distinguishing features include the very wide antehumeral stripes (a feature it shares with the Blue-Eye), the largely unmarked blue sides of the male's thorax, the mushroom-shaped mark on the male's S2, and the vulvar spine below the female's S8.

Hi Sergio, I Must confess your macro's are stunners with loads of details and excellent colors and my comments become repetitive ... that's the class that you exhibit consistently . Great work :-)
