The picture of this rare species of Woodpeckers may not meet up to your expectations in terms of technical qualities, Helmut. Still, it is a valuable contribution. In my opinion, it is a decent capture that displays the features of this bird very well.

Again a wonderful image. The colors, details and focus are great. This is a very rare species in county. I meet it only once. You take a nice image from a perfect POV.

Diese Spechtart kannte ich noch gar nicht. Habe wieder etwas dazugelernt :-)
Das Bild gefällt mir gar nicht schlecht. Guter Aufbau und man sieht das Federkleid des Vogels doch recht gut.
