A neighbour of ours has recently lost a number of ducks and ducklings,I rather fear that this is the culprit.


Farmers have always considered the fox a pest because it will prey on poultry and lambs. Nowadays, most chickens are caged up securely so the fox rarely gets the chance to steal them. Foxes have often been accused of killing lambs. Even though thousands of foxes are killed in Britain every year by hunting and shooting, the overall population does not seem to be affected and foxes are in no danger of becoming rare.

Fantastic image of this curious and well known creature, Les. I love the way the animal is looking strait to you in in anticipation of your next move. Great simplicity ! I would suggest some minor adjustments to change the saturation of the yellow colors. Other than that .... this looks like a Winner to me!

This is a super image of this fox looking straight at you. The eye contact is great. I also find the green grass it is standing in very pleasant. The composition and point of view is just as great. All in all a delightful image. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Impressive photo with excellent clarity and colors. It is a wonderful image taken from a very nice and POV and with exceptional light and contrast. Lovely details of this nice Red Fox species. Perfect WB. In my region they are very shy, no chance to catch a good photo.
