Hello friends, this is my first flower
photo posting in TN (also the first time
in my life i am photographing a flower alone).

I was walking in a forest when i saw this
beautifully colored flower in the forest ground,
i decide i wanted a photo with the F2.8 opening
to see what kind of bokeh will give my Tamron
17-50 F2.8 lens. I am loving the bokeh on this
photo but it would be better if it was a
portrait photo rather than a flower.

With this flower i think i should close
my aperture to F11 or more to have a DOF,
i think it would be a better photo.

For the species of this flower i can not tell you.

1/4000s f/2.8 ISO125 50mm (35mm eq:75mm)
since i have my DSLR i shoot in Aperture mode,
here the 1/4000s shutter speed it is the
camera that have decided. One new thing,
i am going with auto ISO, so the ISO125
also was chosen by the camera.

Merci

Asbed

Bonjour Asbed,

Ciao Marco.

Hello Asbed,
A great close-up shot of what appears to be Orange Hawkweed. Check out this link and see what you think.

I agree you do need a little more DOF, but I'm not sure if you should go all the way down to f/11. I think I would go maybe an f/7 or f/8 first, to see what you get. Beautiful shot!!

Hallo Asbed
Such a delightful image of this beautiful orange wildflower. The combination of orange and yellow displays beautifully against the blurred background, and the natural sunlight in the image just lightens up the colours to the best. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Bonjour Asbed,

Bon weekend.

Pierre
