[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Plain Tiger or Danaus chrysippus is a medium-sized butterfly, which is found in Asia and Africa. It belongs to the Nymphalidae family and Danainae ("Milkweed butterflies")subfamily of the brush-footed butterfly .
The male Plain Tiger is smaller than the female, but more brightly colored. In addition, male danaines have a white colour pouch on the hindwing which is surrounded with a thick black border and bulges slightly. This spot is a cluster of specialised scent scales used to attract females.

Hello Joy,
An attractive shot of this beautiful mating pair of butterflies. Excellent focus and nice white balance.
Their colors and patterns somewhat reminds me of a Monarch. Great job!!
