Eldorado Peak at Night
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
In honor of Ron Warner's comment I am now posting a photo of Eldorado Peak without a tent. This was taken 23 minutes later when even completely went away. The illumination in this photo is purely by moonlight on the snow. I used a pile of rocks as my tripod and used a 60 second shutter speed. The night atmosphere was quite fantastic with glowing peaks all around such as Forbidden Peak. This was taken at Klawatti Camp in the North Cascades National Park. |

Hello Joshua,
Fair photograph, too dark, fair details in the snow, good composition and point of view.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Josh,
Probably a little dark for most peoples taste, but considering you are limited with your equipment, and this was moonlight only, a real beauty. The thing that really matters is that this is the way the scene looked at this exact moment with your own eyes.
I can only imagine what it must have been like to spend the night in such a beautiful place without the noise of civilization and in such clean air. Awesome composition!! TFS.
Ron
