I found this little dragonfly on the banks of the Orange River, just North of Vioolsdrift border post between South Africa and Namibie.
I do not know its name/specie.
They are about 50mm long.

Beautiful photo with good composition, nice lighting and very good sharpness! This is a female of Brachythemis leucosticta , an African species which has expanded northwards in recent decades. In 2006 I was like to take same photos of the firsts (and lasts) specimens found so far in Cyprus.
