[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Marsh Tit (Parus palustris):
Globally, the Marsh Tit is classified as Least Concern, although there is evidence of a decline in numbers (in the UK, numbers have dropped by more than 50% since the 1970s, for example). It can be found throughout temperate Europe and northern Asia and, despite its name, it occurs in a range of habitats including dry woodland. The Marsh Tit is omnivorous; its food includes caterpillars, spiders and seeds. It nests in tree holes, choosing existing hollows to enlarge, rather than excavating its own. A clutch of 5-9 eggs is laid.

Hi Pierre,
Nice picture and POV.

Hi Pierre,
interesting pose of the bird. Nice composition. Excellent point of view.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Pierre,

A splendid shot, good focus showing clarity and good colours against a nice oof bg and showing a nice pose. I'm not so sure that it is a Marsh Tit, the black cap is not quite shiny enough and its paler underside make me think that it may be a Willow Tit ( I see the Willow Tit quite often at my brothers and this looks like a dead ringer).
Thanks for sharing

Hi Pierre,
This is what I would call being on the right spot at the right time. Great capture of this little Tit looking down on the twig. Fantastic detail and colour. Have a great weekend.

Hi Pierre
A very cute pose. I really like the detail in the hi-light areas. Very nice POV and your DOV produced a very nice BG.
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour Pierre,
Un peu de retard pour commenter cette belle image. Quelle pose adorable de la mésange nonnette dans un décor encore hivernal, mais qui annonce la venue proche du printemps. Belle présentation verticale et couleurs naturelles.

Hello Pierre,
a nice moment. not a stagnant bird portrait.
good picture with sharp focus, good colour and well composition.
best wishes,

Hi Pierre,

You're capturing well this bird by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the lovely bird with black head, white belly and brown wing/tail. It's also impressive in the posture in which lower a head and is holding the sprig, since it will be very cold. And, it's good at the contrast between clear front and blurred background.

Kind regards,

the scene the moment the pose are splendid!
regards Pierre
