We see almost never black and white photos on TrekNature. On some subjects, it seems impossible (eg butterflies), but I think others may make sense, either because the colors in the scene are not particularly pleasant, either because the result becomes more powerful or poetic.
To illustrate this, I post a picture of buffalo which I find to correspond to these two criteria. Your comments are very welcome! |

Your right..black and white works out quite nicely in this instance. Love the fine detail and nice effect it has on this fearless looking Buffalo image. Great work!!
