[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A year ago I posted another shot of the Red-throated Skink (Acritoscincus platynotum here) and by chance I happened to visit the Glenbrook area again and find another specimen. They are a small skink about 80mm long and favour sandstone woodlands west of the Nepean River in the Sydney region.
Hope you like it and hanks for looking.

Very well composed closeup Chris with excellent details, colors and POV. I've had my eye out for lizards here..Maybe I need to look a bit harder ;-) Well done & Thanks!

Very nice crop and point of view Chris! I found the top corner a bit distracting and made a crude workshop for you. Hope you won't be offended! Best regards,
Mike

Very nice shot Chris! I like small reptiles and this one looks great. BG made from old wood is very well composed with its camouflage and red spot on throat. Good one!

Hi Chris,

A nice one. A bit too much noise but otherwise great! TFS! Michal

Nice angle to show the gorgeous throat colour. How on earth did you get this close to him?? The texture of the wood in the background really sets this shot off too.

Chris, I've never seen one of them.

I like the vivid colors. The pose is great too. Composition is okay to me.
