Hello Stone,
Nice photograph of "Stalactite".Stalactites are formed by the deposition of Calcium Carbonate and other minerals.Limestone is the chief form of calcium carbonate rock which is dissolved by water that contains carbon-di-oxide,forming a calcium bicarbonate solution in underground caverns.
Stalactite can also form in "Lava Tubes" or on "Concrete".
You have captured it nicely with beautiful light, sharpness and DOF.
Thanks for sharing such exceptional creation of Nature.
Kind regards,
Srikumar
