Great capture of this Heron. Super POV and composition. Nice blurred BG that shows the great detail you have captured in this Heron. It is the pose and eye contact I really like in this photo.

Tom,
Just a perfect portrait of this juvenile heron in the morning light. You have chosen the point of view very well, and the bird is nicely isolated from the smooth, complementary background. Great details, and the bird's pose, with the bill parallel to the sensor plane, is nicely timed.
