|These wild hyacinths (the only species of the genus) were today at their peak on Mt. Meron (1208 meters a.s.). The picture shows a specimen with a dense inflorescence of incompletely open flowers. Another example with open flowers is given in the WS.|
Capturing blue by digital photography is not easy. I've tried to do my best.

We have a very small population of this species, recently discovered by Makris. It is difficult to photograph. Yours is an excellent photo with good exposure and colour and detail.
