Lycaena(Thersamonia) thersamon is one of the most common Lycaenas in Lycaenidae family wide spread from western china to eastern europe in temperate regions from 0 to 3000 meters over sea level. The caterpillar feed on Polygonum sp.and the adult butterfly appears from April to October in 2 or 3 geneations.
