[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a personal SUDDENLY for me.

Cloudy day, when this flock of Spoonbill's landed directly in front of me. Thankful I was able to focus, hold my breath and capture this moment.

Wrote a bit about it! Please visit and leave a comment on my blog! Also get to see some different angles with a larger MP.

This photo I used NEAT processing after shrinking. Might have lost the detail a bit, nevertheless you cans see the action and PINK! It was difficult to chose which one to upload.

Also just a side note, was asked to enter a photo contest. Ironically I found my faves were all to small to enter (as i shrunk them to fit here) this also made me chuckle. If it wasn't for this site, all the amazing talented friends encouraging me here to even "upload" I never would have exposed myself to even ENTERTAINING sharing, learn something new every day!

Just want to say thank you..you know who you are. thank you ((hugs))

Roseate Spoonbill

A bizarre wading bird of the southern coasts, the Roseate Spoonbill uses its odd bill to strain small food items out of the water. Its bright pink coloring leads many Florida tourists to think they have seen a flamingo.

Hello Brenda,

Beautiful and animated composition of these Spoonbills involved in a bit of a horseplay. The exposure is fine and the pink hues are well brought out within the background realms of the marsh reeds. Well taken and very well timed image. Congratulations!

Hello Brenda,
Even though neat image smoothed out some of the detail in the feathers it is still quite lovely. I can't imagine having a flock of these gorgeous birds land right in front of you, this must have made your day.
Love the way you captured them in such an attractive and interesting pose. Not sure if this is some mating ritual or just a playful moment. Great work!!

¡Salve, Brenda!

¡Bellisimo! ¡Bravo!

Desde Argentina, tierra inconstante,
loca, anárquica, estúpida y genial
te saluda
