Here another picture of
- Graphium eurypylus
- family: Papilionidae

which invited me to admire its beautiful and widely opened wings nicely contrasting against the background.

Species information
Graphium eurypylus occurs in large parts of South East Asia including including the large archipelagos of Indonesia and the Philippines. It is a common species in Sulawesi and found flying very fast along paths and rivulets. They often assemble in large numbers at sites with humid soil together with other Papilionidae such as Graphium agamemnon, G. anthedon, G. androcles and G. rhesus.

Location
The picture was taken at a path close to the small settling Konawendepiha in the remote mountains of South-East Sulawesi (Sulawesi-Tenggara).
