[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot of an adult arctic tern feeding it's young was taken from a raft going down a glacial river. As we passed some fallen drifted trees I saw the young begging and calling to the adults above. This adult then delivered a small fish to the young.

I had time for about three shots on high speed motor drive before the raft went on past and we were gone. The sequence of shots shows the young calling, the adult descending (this one) and then the young eating the fish.

Hand held - ISO 400, with IS in mode I, aperture mode set at f5.6. This was one of the very few shots from the raft ride which were any good.
