|The Indian giant squirrel/Malabar giant squirrel/Ratufa indica.|
I spotted this squirrel at Bandipur forest in Karnataka, India. It is high up in the trees, so it was so hard to capture and the weather was cloudy. But I was happy to get this acceptable photo though. They live in the evergreen and mixed deciduous forests across peninsular India. This animal is a shy and secretive in nature.
