[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Acanthus dioscoridis is a rare perennial, distributed in Turkey, Armenia and N Iraq. It has the most magnificent purple flowers. Unfortunately I was two months late and sae them only dry.

Hello Ori,
Happy to see once an Acanthus flower which I knew from name by the Corinthian capitals in greek architecture. The leaves are really special and decorative.
Beautiful light caught on your picture too.
Take care!

Salut Ori,
Nice shot. Impressive and unusual plant.
Acanthus leaf is the characteristic decoration of the capitals of the Corinthian order.
it is also one of the most common patterns sculptures of Romanesque art. TFS. Didier.
