[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photograph is taken in the pond of Hibiya park in Tokyo Chiyoda-ku. On this day, exactly, the parent and some cute chicks of the Spot-billed Duck formed the group, and were swimming calmly in the pond. Occasionally, they rested by going up to rocks in pond. The parents of a spotbill duck are about 53 - 63 cm in full length, and the wing-span length is 83 - 91 cm. And, the feathers of the whole body is dark brown. It is distributed over the Republic of Korea, the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, and eastern Russia. It mainly inhabits to the lake, the river ryc,. And, it will also be inhabited the ocean if winter comes. Feeding habits are omnivorous with vegetable foods tendency, and eat a seed, an aquatic plant, an insect, etc.

very exciting circle made by the ducklings to show how enjoyable life with mummy. The details are excellent and the the tiny droplets of water could be seen on those little fine hairs.
Tight crop to allow definite eye movement.
Great presentation in simple style.
