Donkey Orchid (Diuris bromalis)
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|The Common Donkey Orchid is a common terrestrial orchid from the SW of Western Australia. Flowers in winter (July-Sept) and is often found in groups. This was taken with a Canon 100mm Macro IS lens, with a tripod and remote cable to reduce vibration. I find it a great lens for macro, giving me a bit more room than the 60mm macro lens I started my macrophotography with.|
Photo was cropped, with levels, saturation and sharpness tweaked in DPP.
