... and midtones, too. I borrowed the name from this Photoshop tool, because I was embraced by the lights and shadows inside this otherwise typical beech forest. More info about the Common beech or European beech (Fagus sylvatica) here, and also beside my my previous post about the species, a couple years ago.

Photo: taken in the Bükk National Park during my holiday at home, a few kilometers from Szentlélek ranch, in shutter priority exposure mode. PP: slight level adjustment, framing, re-sizing, slight selective sharpening with Neat Image module of Photoimpact.

Hello László,
Very special photo of this forest. I often use this tool in photoshop. The differences between light and dark are big in this picture. For me it's a bit dark, specially on the left side. But the light between the trees is very beautiful. The longer I look, the more I see.

Ciao Mazslo, great view of fantastic forest, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Mr.Laszlo,

Thanks for sharing,

Hello Laszlo,
Nothing more difficult for a photographer than to work with shadow/light situation. You rendred it well on this shot, keeping the fine atmosphere of such places. Well shown these grey trunks of Fagus silvatica.

Just a fascinating pic MF Laszlo! Beuatiful colours in the intirgant vertcal.

Hello Laszlo
I was missed this lovely image.
What a beautiful light you catch here.
Fantastic atmospheric shot, love it.
best wishes and regards,

Hello László

The shadow and light with the scenery itself are giving an
atmosphere effect to the photo, fine POV with perspective effect, TFS
