Werde mich wieder melden.
So you were in Dharamsala in April 2012, Peter! Jammu is just about 4 hours drive from there. What a pleasant surprise and what a pleasure to get to see your work again!
The Sorrel Sapphire you shot there looks beautiful. I too shot a similar species (Purple Sapphire) in Dharamsala some years ago.
Thanks for coming back to TN and sharing your image with us.

It is always good to see one of your postings, just a pity they are so scarce. My time on Trek Nature are also limited and therefore I appreciate good quality images when I see them, as like yours of the The Sorrel Sapphire here.
It is sharp and well presented. Beautiful composition with great light and wonderful colours.
Thanks for sharing.

I am very glad that you had some time to post new charming pictures. This one is so impressive. Low POV, great magnification ratio and stunning reproduction even the tiniest details of the butterfly (we can see every hair and colour shade of the insect) impress the imagination. Leaf pattern may be is the best frame for the whole composition. My compliments and best wishes.

Splendid shot of an endemic species of the Indian subcontinent. Focus on the lower part of the wings is excellent, such as the DoF which kept all parts of the butterfly sharp (except for the left antenna, which became a little out of focus), and even the lovely Rumex leaves also. Lovely composition and white balance, again a very high quality image from you. As I always ask: if you have more time, energy and wish, please come more regularly to TN as we miss you. Thanks.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
