[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Brahminy Myna or Brahminy Starling (Sturnia pagodarum)is a common resident of the indian subcontinent.
It is a resident breeder in Nepal and India, a winter visitor to Sri Lanka and a summer visitor in parts of the western Himalayas and northeastern Himalayas. They have musical call notes that are long made up of a series of slurred notes that ends abruptly.[3] Although mainly seen on the plains there are a few records from above 3000m mainly from Ladakh.[5]

Hello Pierre,
You have captured this beautiful Myna bird perfectly. The contrasting colors in it's plumage along with it's gorgeous beak come together to make this a stunning species indeed.
I love the fine detail you managed to capture, especially in the facial area. The soft natural lighting is wonderful and the overall composition is very eye catching.

Hello Heimann!
Super shot of this interesting species of Myna. The arrogant look is that of a Jungle babbler. Great POV and depth. I like the grey, light orange and black color combination on bird. Thanks for this lovely composition,

This Mynah is certainly the best looking among many others we find here in India, Pierre. You have capture it well in Khajuraho. The image is sharp and the colours are beautiful.
