[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photographed this Black Drongo quite late in the afternoon today while the white clover fields were being watered by our farmer friend and this bird waited from various perches for the insects to stir.I took this shot when it came and sat on the wall of my home and was watching very closely the field as water rushed below in the water channel and gurgled into the field. The eye of the bird reveals it all as it sat oblivious that it was being watched by a hungry photographer, hungry for more and more shots. We always take a number of shots and select one, leave others to be posted on an indefinite future date or forget to post...left to posterity to explore or to discard.

Hi Abid, the big zoom works very well as i can see,an excellent capture,i like the black plumage details,so perfect and always difficult, great exposure and imposing perspective too.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

That applies to me too, Prof Hussain. :)
I have a stockpile of thousands of such 'discarded' shots from my greedy shoots. I'm trying to clean up the mess these days.
This is the best close-up shot of a Black Drongo I have ever seen. The amber colour of the eye is extremely well recorded; normally, eye is a major problem with black birds. The focused expression of the bird comes through strongly in this pin sharp image.
Best regards.

Hello Abid Sahab!
Hope everything is fine at your end. This is indeed a very good shot of Black Drongo in great sharpness. Blue sky is providing a very good BG to highlight your subject effectively. Details on the red-eye are excellent. Like your every shot, this one also has an interesting and useful note. Thanks for sharing,
Have a good day,
Best Regards,

Hello Abid,
Very beautiful photo in nice natural colours and fantastic sharpness. Attractive pose. Beautiful blue sky in the background.

Bonjour Syed,
Bonnes gestion de la lumière et de la profondeur de champ mais il est dommage que le sujet n'apparaisse pas en entier sur la publication.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
