[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I photographed these mating Plain Tigers (Danaus chrysippus)today, I think before noon, while they sat on a chicory plant in bright harsh sunlight while all around in the flowering clover field so many of their relatives fed in ease and comfort. But the harsh hot summer is upon us and soon these white clover flowers will wilt away and a new crop will be sown by the farmer and new faces will appear, life as ever is on the move. What else can I say, dramas of life are diverse and with the new crops will come new pairs of plain tigers and someone else to photograph them besides us.....ah, do not feel sad, just romanticizing things.....smile.

The sun was just over-head when you shot this couple, Abid bhai.
The marked contrasts on the wings are inevitable in such shooting conditions. However, they lend a third dimension to the image and enhance its appeal.
A well composed frame.
Thanks and regards.
Ram

Hi Syed, you caught very well this great opportunity,a very lucky meeting wiht this couple mating, not easy to find.Great 3D effec on the wings made by the diagonal light and excellent details and colors,i like it! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hello Abid sahab!
A very fine shot of this couple of Plain tigers sharing an intimate moment. A high-angle sun has given a 3D effect to this fine shot but at the cost of giving a faded look to the bright orange/yellow. It hasn't affected the quality of this close-up shot. Very good sharpness shows a fine focus and your subjects are effectively highlighted with a beautiful BG. Thanks for sharing,
Best Regards,
AKBAR

Hello Abid,
I must say your Plain Tigers remind me so much of our Monarch Butterflies. Their bodies look exactly like the Monarch, but the wing markings are slightly different. Nice close-up shot showing them off in fine detail and beautiful natural colors. I really like the clean blurred BG. Well done!!
