[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish] |
Argiope araneomorfas is a genus of spiders Araneidae family which includes large and spectacular spiders that have a great sexual dimorphism, being females (approximately 2.5 cm) around 3 times higher than males (about 8 mm). These species have a remarkably colorful abdomen and are distributed worldwide; in countries with temperate climates have one or more species with similar appearance.
