[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A variety of butterflies were seen mud-puddling near a water spring during my Himalayan trek in the first week of June this year. Here is a pair of Brimstone butterflies.

Gonepteryx rhamni (known as the Common Brimstone) is a butterfly of the Pieridae family. It lives in Europe, North Africa and Asia; across much of its range, it is the only species of its genus, and is therefore simply known locally as the brimstone.

Hi Ram.
Simply great POV, shallow DOF and diagonal composition. I am amazed with precise DOF. Tack sharpness of the butterflies and surrounding ground, stunning transparency of the image and clean fine colours of the shot. Well done and best regards.

Hello Ram,
A great shot of these two beautiful Common Brimstone Butterflies. Their veined wings are easily seen in fine detail and rich yet natural colors. I like the diagonal presentation as it adds a bit of interest to the overall composition.

Great photo Ram! The composition with the two butterflies is fantastic! wonderful colours and very good sharpness too!
